Neponset River Bridge

The Neponset River Bridge was constructed in 1970, and serves as a major artery between Quincy and Boston over the Neponset River. The bridge is a 24-span structure with three additional ramps.  A rehabilitation project was started in 2010 and was completed in 2013. Part of the project was to prepare and coat the structural steel 10’ feet from all expansion joints. The difficult access, preparation requirements and coatings system where properly fulfilled by the John W. Egan Company. The John W. Egan Company is a SSPC Certified Contractor QP1 and QP2.

John W. Egan Company has a staff of NACE certified coating inspectors.
